Region to get new programme to aid COVID-era learning loss recovery

A new regional programme to help students recover the learning losses of the COVID-19 era will be presented to the public in a virtual town hall session this Thursday, 18 November.

The Learning Recovery and Enhancement Programme for Caribbean Schools was developed through collaboration by the Caribbean Development Bank, the CARICOM Secretariat and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Commission, to assist educations with facilitating the learning recovery needed by students whose education has been impacted by the COVID pandemic.

Thursday’s town hall session can be accessed online at: https://uwitv.org/ or https://www.facebook.com/caricom.org
